Talk is still king on the west coast. CBC Radio 1 remains on top where it’s been since being narrowly beat out by QM in late 2015/early 2016.
CKNW was flat book-to-book with a 10.2, but that was sufficient to regain second spot from QM, which did its usual summer softening from 10.7 to 9.5. The Bell AC is still number 1 in listenership, though, and it’s fair to say will likely rebound in fall with the return of office tuning.
Rock 101 was steady in 4th and Virgin remained in 5th, but with a nice share increase from 6.4 to 7.4.
Country is consistent in Vancouver with JR flat at a 5.7 and hanging onto the 6th spot in ranking.
Z95.3, CFOX and Jack all moved up a few places in ranking at the behest of News 1130 and LG.
Finally, Kiss and The Peak swapped places at 12th and 13th, respectively.
