Country is back on top in Calgary! Country 105 had a tremendous summer moving from 3rd to 1st and seeing their share increase from an 8.8 to a 10.6 – their best showing in quite some time.
Two stations come in with a 8.8 share – another Corus station, AM 770 and Newcap’s XL103.
The CBC took a usual summer hit dropping 2 shares points and going from the top to 4th.
CJAY has a habit of doing well in the heat and this was no exception. The rocker saw a nice share increase from 4.8 to an even 6, with a market move to 5th. Classic Rock, Q107, was not far behind with a 5.8.
There was another ranking tie at 7th/8th – Rawlco’s Soft Rock 97.7 and Harvard;s X92.9. Both stations posted a 5.4, which was up for both.
A couple Rogers stations complete the top 10 with Jack and 660 News.
