Country 105 stayed on top during the summer. In fact, they packed on a considerable amount of cume while obviously not losing much in the way of TSL – a winning combination anywhere. The CBC always does well in Calgary. No exception this time. XL103 FM bounced back dramatically from a lower than expected spring. They jump past a couple stations to take 3rd in the market. Lite 95-9 continues to lead in cume, but sit fourth in rank and were flat book to book. CHQR is next after what must be considered a big disappointment for them. It seems the blow up with Dave Rutherford has had at least a short term impact. The rest of the market is largely unchanged, although Up and was down over a share from the previous period and the end of hockey saw the Fan go from a 3.1 to a 1.9.
