The 91.5 CKPR Morning Show, Danny and Laura in the Morning, in Thunder Bay, were in the doghouse this past month! They set up their “Dog House” at Performance Kia in Thunder Bay to raise funds to help out the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society who had announced that it would have to close their doors because of lack of funds.

Originally Danny and Laura’s goal was to raise $5,000 from 6am to 6pm, but the response was so overwhelming that they raised that amount by 8:30am! Program Director, Brad Hilgers, then told them they had to stay there until they raised $15,000… and they did it! They more than tripled the amount they were hoping for! By the time they were eventually released , Danny and Laura had raised OVER $16,000!!!
