This story seems to be gaining more traction as now app store analytics company Distimo is forecasting that Android would surpass the App Store in size before the end of July 2011. German research firm Research2guidance, agrees with Distimo’s findings, and believes that Android will blow by Apple’s App Store by August 2o11.
