Former Radio executive resigns from Newspaper job

There was a big shakeup at the top of the Chicago based newspaper company The Tribune on 15 October with the sudden resignation and departure of Lee Abrahams following revelations that he wrote an email to staff with a link to a video that some within the company considered offensive. Abrahams was ranked as one of the 75 most important radio figures of all time by Radio Ink Magazine and left the top job at XM in 2008 where he was Chief Programming Officer to join the newspaper as the Chief Innovation Officer. Now speculation is that Randy Michael’s and some of the “Clear Channel” people who Lee attracted will be next to go.

Abrams sent  a letter explaining his actions and you can see it here. Thanks to All Access. See the update on this story here
