Laura Gaggi & The New Media Reality at OAB CONNECTION 2010

The Ontario Association of Broadcasters announces Laura Gaggi, President of Gaggi Media Communications Inc., will be a speaker at Connection 2010 on Thursday, October 21st.

Beginning at 4:00 p.m., Laura’s presentation and panel discussion will focus on The New Media Reality: Fact and Fiction.  Laura’s panel will feature Deanne Childs, Senior Sales Executive, Thindata 1:1; Jeff Corcoran, Director Corporate Marketing, OLG; and Helena Shelton, EVP Trading & Accounting, PHD Canada.

This session will explore the state of media in Canada and dispel some of the myths about broadcast and the accelerated growth and importance of online advertising and social media. A panel will discuss their successes in finding the “strategic balance” between online and broadcast in their media and marketing campaigns. They will also talk about the relationship between the media, advertising and digital agencies and how they are working together to find these optimum levels to reach and motivate consumers.
