Heart FM Woodstock held a charity BBQ last Friday to raise money and awareness for Child Find Ontario and Rodney Stafford’s Kilometers for Kids II ride. Station volunteers spent time making burgers and serving pop to folks who dropped by.

Child Find’s Terry Smith was on hand with hand outs and flyers, and to show their support for Rodney and his family. Rodney’s daughter Tori was murdered last year in this community. Local recording artist Chip Gall dropped by to perform a song live on the radio, and raffle tickets were sold on a gift certificate from Sundance Balloons.

Total amount raised was $1007, to be given to Child Find Ontario to support Rodney and his son on their ride from Edmonton to Woodstock this summer.
