Central Ontario Broadcasting continues to search for the perfect morning news person/co-host.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Have a minimum of 5 years on air radio experience.
- Write and deliver newscasts.
- Have the ability to prepare and perform great morning radio.
- Have great communication skills.
- Have the ability to interact with audiences both on the air and outside the station.
- Have excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Be self motivated and have the ability to work within a team environment.
- Become a part of the community.
- Be professional at remotes and community events.
- Be a team player. Have a positive attitude and great sense of humour.
- Be computer literate and understand social networking.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will plan and co-host a morning show, write and deliver the news, update the website, op the board when necessary, jump at every opportunity to volunteer for the next charity event, show up to work early, leave late….but not before mapping out tomorrow’s show, reading spots and suggesting an award winning imaging concept to the producer.
