PART-TIME WEEKEND/FILL-IN HOST ? 100.3 The Bear
(Full-time permanent position)

The Bear in Edmonton has a very rare opening for a part-time Weekend/Fill-in Host!
We want someone who can live and relate to the rock n roll lifestyle, along with solid on-air and social media skills!

Responsibilities:
- Host an entertaining and interactive radio show that fits the target audience of 100.3 The Bear
- Update interactive content (blogging, video, Facebook, twitter, other Interactive content related activities)
- Make public appearances and do remotes
- Commercial production when required
- Preparation and recording Voice track shifts when required
- Fill-in for various day parts and holiday relief when required
- All other related tasks

Skill requirements & qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience on air
- Excellent on-air Skills
- Knowledge of cultural and current events
- Ability to work independently
- Must be creative and innovative
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humor!
- Passionate, detail oriented and goal oriented
- Familiarity with Maestro and Adobe Audio an asset
- Self Motivated and able to take direction
- Knowledge of CRTC and CBSC Content Regulation
